Product Designer

I help make complex products feel simple.

I’m Danny Papageorge, a product designer with more than a decade of experience. I take products from early discovery and strategy through interaction design, systems, and launch. DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES. DIFFERENT PROBLEMS. THE SAME GOAL: BUILD SOMETHING USEFUL.

What I bring to a product team.

End-to-end product design, with the range to move from an ambiguous problem to a thoughtfully shipped solution.

Product thinking

I connect customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints to identify the right problem before committing to a solution.

  • Discovery and research
  • Product strategy
  • Journey mapping and flows
  • Prioritization and tradeoffs

Interaction and systems

I turn complex requirements into understandable flows, testable prototypes, polished interfaces, and reusable patterns.

  • Interaction design
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Interface design
  • Design systems
  • Accessibility

Cross-functional delivery

I work closely with product managers and engineers throughout the process so decisions remain grounded and the finished experience holds together.

  • Facilitation and alignment
  • Design–engineering iteration
  • Implementation support
  • Launch and refinement

How I work.

UNDERSTAND

Start with the problem

I bring customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints into the same conversation. The goal is to understand what matters, what is still uncertain, and what is worth solving first.

PROTOTYPE

Test ideas fast

I’d rather put something real in front of people in days than spend weeks on polished mockups. Prototypes make the trade-offs visible while they’re still cheap to change.

SHIP

Stay until launch

I stay close to product and engineering through implementation, working through tradeoffs, refining details, and helping the team preserve the intent behind the design.

About me

I'm curious about the problem, and committed to the outcome.

Get in touch

I’m a product designer who enjoys complex systems, close collaboration, and the journey from a rough problem to a shipped product.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across travel, fintech, energy, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. My experience spans product strategy, user experience, interface design, design systems, and visual identity. This range helps me connect big picture decisions with the details people experience every day.

I do my best work on teams that value curiosity, direct communication, and shared ownership. I use prototypes, including coded prototypes and those created with AI, to make ideas tangible earlier, encourage useful conversations, and help teams learn before they commit.

Modern AI tools have changed how I work. They help me prototype faster and explore more directions, which leaves more time for the decisions that actually matter.
