The Michael J. Fox Foundation

Roles: UX Researcher, Interaction Designer

Project Overview

The Michael J. Fox Foundation sought out a partnership to co-build a website that reflects the Foundation’s brand and role as a visionary funder in the Parkinson’s field.

I was part of a three person team who engaged in a process of UX Discovery to better understand the needs, motivations and behaviors of the organization and the audiences they serve. This process allowed us to fully understand what we should design and build moving forward.

Later on in the project, I designed the interactions / animations used throughout the site.

UX Discovery

To better understand business and user objectives, we engaged in the following insight activities:

  • Content Audit

  • Competitive Analysis

  • Comparative Analysis

  • Stakeholder Interviews

  • Analytics Review

  • User Surveys

  • Collaborative Workshop

Interaction Designs

The following videos show a selection of the interactions and animations I designed for the new website. The animations, along with detailed notes, were given to our front-end team who built what you see on the live site.
